When things get used

I do like it when something I make for somebody else is all new looking and pretty.  Like the bag I made for my mum-in-law's birthday last year...



But I like it even better to see it one year on, propped against the fridge, next to the ironing board, being used...


There's something very satisfying about that :)

    Oh, yes! I totally agree! I made a small pouch for my friend once. She decided to keep her phone in it. Now, after about 5 years the pouch looks just terrible, but she still uses it:) Very rewarding :)

    And the bag is great! No wonder your mum-in-law uses it a lot :)

    It's brilliant isn't it? My mom's using the pressies I gave her for her birthday and it's great because all her friends know that I made them for her x
